Responsibilities

As a Private Equity Intern at Convent Capital, you will be a crucial part of our investment team, participating in all aspects of a transaction process. Your responsibilities will span from generating deal flow, conducting market research and business analysis, to providing general team support. Some of the key tasks you will be responsible for include:

  • Participating in deal teams and collaborating with 2-3 team members on live transactions.
  • Analyzing and interpreting company information and preparing financial models (balance sheets, P&Ls, cash flow statements, and leveraged buyout models).
  • Identifying and analyzing potentially interesting investment proposals.
  • Preparing investment proposals and other presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Supporting portfolio companies with relevant analyses.
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative market research.

Job Requirements

  • You have an entrepreneurial and hands-on mentality.
  • You combine strong analytical, social, and communication skills in your work.
  • You are able to process and analyze information efficiently and independently.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
  • You have one or more relevant previous internship experiences (such as M&A, private equity, venture capital, or consultancy).
  • You have completed a quantitative Bachelor's degree at a university (such as economics, econometrics, business administration, finance, computer science, or other STEM fields).
