Responsibilities

As an intern, you'll have the chance to work alongside both junior and senior Oaklins professionals, actively participating in a range of M&A transaction aspects. You'll be integral to the development of client presentations, building valuation models, conducting industry research, and identifying potential buyers and targets across various industries. This hands-on experience will give you a taste of the Oaklins culture and provide you with an in-depth understanding of the work they do.

Oaklins doesn't just provide an internship - they offer an Intern Academy. Here, you'll experience an effective and structured learning program, tackling topics like valuation, financial modelling, special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), due diligence, and contracting. This academy is designed to equip the next generation of dealmakers with the knowledge and skills to excel in the M&A industry. Their goal is to inform, engage, and inspire interns to perform at the top of their potential, giving you a comprehensive understanding of the sector and insight into the day-to-day activities of their analysts.

Job Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or another financial or technical field.
  • You are available for at least 3 months and enrolled at university.
  • Ambitious, proactive, analytical, strong in numbers, team player, able to perform well under pressure.
  • Above-average academic performance combined with extracurricular activities and/or student associations.
  • Fluent in Dutch (preferred) and English language.
