Responsibilities

As an intern you are involved in the investment team in the field of private equity and you support this team on the following topics: Helping to map out the private equity universe, drawing up selection criteria and developing investment proposals; Helping to set up reporting systems to properly monitor private equity investments, to assess performance and to report on this to clients. There is also the option of supporting the investment committee in expressing their vision on the financial markets and their investment policy in words and images.

Job Requirements

In this private equity internship, you will be an important part of our investment team and be involved in all aspects of a transaction process. Your involvement will range from generating deal flow, conducting market research and business analysis, to providing general team support. Some of the activities you will be responsible for include:

  • Being part of deal teams and collaborating with 2-3 team members on live transactions.
  • Analyzing and interpreting company information and preparing financial models (balance sheets, P&Ls, cash flow statements, and leveraged buyout models).
  • Identifying and analyzing potentially interesting investment proposals for Vortex.
  • Preparing investment proposals and other presentations that will be presented internally and externally.
  • Supporting portfolio companies with relevant analyses.
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative market research.
