The firm focuses on growth capital and buyout investments. The firm, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, primarily invests in technology companies across Europe. This includes areas like digital technology, software, IT services, and tech-enabled businesses

Responsibilities

In this private equity internship, you will be an  integral part of the team and supports in all aspects of operations. Your involvement ranges from analyzing investment opportunities, performing market research and contributing to the execution of transactions. Amongst others, this involves the following activities:

  • Supporting deal teams on live transactions
  • Teaming up with several of our portfolio companies to work on strategic topics and operational excellence
  • Supporting with deal origination with market research and sector deepdives
  • Financial modelling and commercial due diligence to evaluate investment opportunities
  • Supporting in due diligence, deal negotiations, and attracting bank financing
  • Assisting our portfolio companies with financial reporting, performance analysis and buy-and-build.

Job Requirements

Who we are looking for in this private equity internship:

  • You have an entrepreneurial and hands-on mentality.
  • You combine strong analytical, social, and communication skills in your work.
  • You are able to process and analyze information efficiently and independently.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
  • You have one or more relevant previous internship experiences (such as M&A, private equity, venture capital, or consultancy).
  • You have completed a quantitative Bachelor's degree at a university (such as economics, econometrics, business administration, finance, computer science, or other STEM fields)
