Private Equity Internship

Torqx is a PE firm based in Bussum, that invests in medium-sized companies headquartered in the Benelux with significant value creation potential. Funding situations which include growth-, buy-and-build-, performance improvement-, carve-out, turnaround- and transformation scenarios.

They are active in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, distribution and services, leveraging the broad experience of our team. Typically acquiring majority positions based on partnerships with entrepreneurs and management teams. Apart from providing companies with smart capital, they also offer companies their network, expertise and talent. All to help companies achieve their full potential.

Torqx offers top talent the opportunity to work in the investment team for a number of months. As an intern you will be involved in all aspects of the investment process and you will be a full member of the investment team. Your activities include:

• analysing markets and sectors;
• analysing investment proposals (“IMs”);
• support in the execution of investment processes (“deals”);
• support for activities within our portfolio companies.

Who we are looking for in this private equity internship:

• You have an entrepreneurial and hands-on mentality.
• You combine strong analytical, social, and communication skills in your work.
• You are able to process and analyze information efficiently and independently.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
• You have one or more relevant previous internship experiences (such as M&A, private equity, venture capital, or consultancy).
• You have completed a quantitative Bachelor's degree at a university (such as economics, econometrics, business administration, finance, computer science, or other STEM fields).
