Private Equity Internship / Analyst

HC Partners is an Amsterdam-based private equity fund that focuses on building market-leading companies through executing buy-and-build strategies. Through acquisitions and accelerated organic growth in fragmented markets, they build leading companies with distinct positions. Over the course of the last 5 years, they have executed >60 acquisitions in sectors such as physiotherapy, dental care, testing, inspection & certification, and technical security. 

They work together closely with their portfolio companies to ensure accelerated and sustainable transformation and growth. From their offices in the Houthavens in Amsterdam, they are currently working with a team of 10, of which 8 are investment professionals. The investment team has a wide range of expertise across fields such as corporate finance, strategy consulting, and private equity.

In this private equity internship, you will:  

• Be an integral part of M&A processes (because of the high volume of deals at HC Partners, your will definitely work on ‘live’ deals);
• Map and analyze new sectors for HC Partners to potentially invest in
• Support their portfolio companies and their management with selective strategic analyses.

Who we are looking for in this private equity internship:

• You have an entrepreneurial and hands-on mentality.
• You combine strong analytical, social, and communication skills in your work.
• You are able to process and analyze information efficiently and independently.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
• You have one or more relevant previous internship experiences (such as M&A, private equity, venture capital, or consultancy).
• You have completed a quantitative Bachelor's degree at a university (such as economics, econometrics, business administration, finance, computer science, or other STEM fields).
