Private Equity Internship

Gilde Healthcare is a specialized healthcare investor managing with two fund strategies: Venture & Growth and Private Equity.

The Venture & Growth fund invests in innovative companies active in healthtech and therapeutics in Europe and North America.

The Private Equity fund participates in profitable European lower mid-market healthcare companies including healthcare providers, suppliers of medical products and service providers to the healthcare sector.

Given the compact investment team you will have the opportunity to take an integral role in a deal team. You will also have the opportunity to engage in many parts of the investment process with an emphasis on the deal origination phase. Some of the activities you will be responsible for include:

• Identifying and analyzing potentially interesting investment proposals.
• Preparing investment proposals and other presentations that will be presented internally and externally.
• Supporting portfolio companies with relevant analyses.
• Conducting quantitative and qualitative market research.

Who we are looking for in this private equity internship:

• You have an entrepreneurial and hands-on mentality.
• You combine strong analytical, social, and communication skills in your work.
• You are able to process and analyze information efficiently and independently.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
• You have one or more relevant previous internship experiences (such as M&A, private equity, venture capital, or consultancy).
• You have completed a quantitative Bachelor's degree at a university (such as economics, econometrics, business administration, finance, computer science, or other STEM fields).
