Their mission is to grow medium-sized companies into great businesses that form the foundation of a strong Dutch economy. They focus on the growth and transformation market. When choosing the companies in which they invest, it must be possible to create value within the company. They mainly invest in companies with the following characteristics:

  • Fast-growing companies and/or mature companies that wish to achieve a transformation
  • Businesses on the verge of major changes
  • Dutch companies with international ambitions or positions
  • operationally profitable

Responsibilities

In this private equity internship, you will be an important part of our investment team and be involved in all aspects of a transaction process. Your involvement will range from generating deal flow, conducting market research and business analysis, to providing general team support. Some of the activities you will be responsible for include:

  • Being part of deal teams and collaborating with 2-3 team members on live transactions.
  • Analyzing and interpreting company information and preparing financial models (balance sheets, P&Ls, cash flow statements, and leveraged buyout models).
  • Identifying and analyzing potentially interesting investment proposals.
  • Preparing investment proposals and other presentations that will be presented internally and externally.
  • Supporting portfolio companies with relevant analyses.
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative market research.

Job Requirements

Who we are looking for in this private equity internship:

  • You have an entrepreneurial and hands-on mentality.
  • You combine strong analytical, social, and communication skills in your work.
  • You are able to process and analyze information efficiently and independently.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
  • You have one or more relevant previous internship experiences (such as M&A, private equity, venture capital, or consultancy).
  • You have completed a quantitative Bachelor's degree at a university (such as economics, econometrics, business administration, finance, computer science, or other STEM fields).
